Dress Code:

Uniforms are available for purchase throughout the year while supplies last.  Students are required to dress in gym clothes daily.  This includes:

• All clothing must be worn right side out and facing forward.

• Any logo, other than the “Earhart” logo, is not permitted.

• Any writing or coloring, other than your name in the designated area, is not permitted.

• Last name and first initial must be neatly written in the middle-front of shirt / sweat shirt and in the lower-left corner (above knee) of shorts / sweat pants.  Lost clothing without names cannot be claimed.

• No jewelry, head bands, hats, wrist bands and / or watches of any kind may be worn during class.

• Only one pair of shorts and shirt may be worn at a time.

• PE clothes/sweats may not have pockets, zippers, hoods, external draw strings, snaps or buttons.

• PE shirt / shorts must be worn under sweats.

• Shirt must be light grey and shorts may be grey or maroon.

• Shorts and sweats must be worn at the waist – sagging is not permitted.

• Students are required to dress out everyday.

• Sun glasses are not permitted unless prescribed by a doctor (copy of prescription must be given to teacher / school nurse).

• Sweat pants / sweat shirt must be light grey or maroon.

• Sweats may be worn when the TV in the PE office indicates “Sweats Yes”.

• Shirts must be tucked in 360˚.

• Students are required to wear athletic shoes and athletic socks (shoes must be tied tight).

• PE clothes are for PE only.  Do not wear around campus.

• Education Code 49066 states that a student experiencing difficulties in complying with the P.E .dress requirements should immediately notify his/her P.E. teacher.

Each Friday, students are expected to take their clothes home to wash them; students should bring their clothes back on Mondays.

Students are expected to tuck in their shirts and keep their shorts/sweats at their waist/hips.  Un-tucked shirts and/or sagging will not be tolerated.  Students also need to wear athletic shoes that are tied correctly to class.  Students should keep a pair of white athletic socks and athletic shoes in their lockers.

Students are expected to bring their clothes home every Friday to wash them and return them each Monday.
